Appraisers-As always, we appreciate your participation in our celebration of creativity. However, this year we can’t thank you enough for volunteering to appraise our virtual tournament! Please click the button below to register for 2021. It looks different from past years, but we think you will find it much easier to use. Deadline to register is February 1.
Advancement of Teams from Region to State:
Every challenge and level will advance the first place team to the TXDI State Tournament. Teams that place 2nd – 5th will also be allowed to advance IF they have at least a 180/300 on the Team Challenge section. (This requirement excludes the IC score)
The TXDI State (Lonestar) Finals are 100% virtual and will cost $250 per team.
The IC for this state tournament drops on March 5th.
All teams will be allowed to access and complete this March 5th State IC before anything else is required. The teams that advance to state will need to complete this IC the weekend of March 5th, then register and pay for the state tournament, then follow the state’s tournament timeline to fully participate.
Our 2021 Tournament will be held virtually. Teams will submit video recorded challenge solutions. Please take a look at this presentation to get a better understanding of the tournament process this year.
Tournament registration is open! Your team must be registered by January 9. This year, we are using a new registration system, Register Your Team at ryt.destinationimagination.org.
