Destination Imagination (DI) is a hands-on, team-based program where students turn their ideas into original solutions to open-ended STEAM Challenges.
Teams of 2–7 students choose a Challenge, imagine a solution, build it, and bring it to life at the Mid-Cities Destination Imagination Regional Tournament.

Our Mid-Cities Regional Tournament takes place annually in February and is usually held at a high school within our regional boundaries. The Mid-Cities DI region includes schools and organizations within Arlington ISD, Birdville ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, HEB ISD, Irving ISD, Keller ISD, Kennedale ISD, and Southlake Carrol ISD territories.
Regional tournament Registration ($100) is due by December 4, 2026. Your team will also need to purchase program materials/team number ($175) and secure a Team Manager background check ($25) through Destination Imagination Inc. There are discounts available for Organizations with more than ten teams.
